You’ve successfully passed the first stage! You’re one step closer to a career full of possibilities where you’ll come home buzzing with stories to tell. Next up is the Virtual Assessment Centre.
Our Virtual Assessment Centre is an online interview where we’ll get the opportunity to e-meet you. The interview will last approximately 1 hour.
During this stage we will get to learn more about you and what you can bring to the Security Officer role. We will explore your work history and the qualities you can bring as a colleague at Heathrow. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask us any questions you have about the role, responsibilities, shift patterns and working environment.

What to expect?
The interview will last approximately 1 hour.

During the interview, we will explore your motivation for joining Heathrow in this role. In addition there will some questions that will be scenario-based – asking you to describe how you will expect to deal with some situations that may come up within the role. Other questions will look at your previous experience and how you have demonstrated the key behaviours that are required for the role of a Security Officer at Heathrow.
What’s next?
If your virtual assessment centre interview is successful, then there’s just one more step to take. We’ll invite you to an in-person Security Interview and a basic Medical Review. Both of these will be conducted at D’Albiac House, Cromer Road, Hounslow, TW6 1SD . Together, they’ll both take about an hour. You are encouraged to take public transport to attend the Security and Medical Interview. Location details and map of how to get to D’Albiac House, will be emailed to you separately, once you have passed your virtual interview and have a date and time for your appointment confirmed.
If you pass both your virtual assessment centre interview and the Security and Medical Review, then we’ll call you to make you a verbal job offer!
